Real Living Home Team was founded in the fall of 2006 as Dave Culbertson and his family purchased the franchise rights to Real Living and formed Real Living Knox County LLC., doing business as Real Living Home Team. Since day one, they have strived to be a full-service real estate company serving the needs of clients in Knox County, Ohio and the surrounding area. Culbertson is the president and principal broker, after having served his clients for thirteen years as a full-time real estate agent.
Real Living Home Team has as its mission statement:
 To provide honest and extraordinary service to our clients, create and maintain an exciting, fun and productive workplace for our agents and support staff, and to be a good corporate citizen of the community.
Real Living Home Team plans to recruit, train and coach only high-quality agents to always be at the forefront of customer service, marketing and technology. We also are developing an excellent support staff to assist our agents and to help keep communications and feedback flowing to and from our clients, agents, other REALTORS, and the community as a whole. We also plan to “give back” to the community that supports us, in a variety of ways.
Different from many real estate offices, Real Living Home Team believes it is important to expose its listings to as many REALTORS as possible. To accomplish this, we are the only real estate office in Knox County that is a member of four different real estate boards and MLS systems. We belong to the following boards, reaching 5000+ agents throughout Central Ohio: Knox County Board of Realtors; Columbus Board of Realtors; Licking County Board of Realtors; and the Richland County Board of Realtors. This gives you, the seller, the best opportunity to sell your home, by reaching more agents, who will in turn, let their buyers know about your home…”casting the net out far and wide,” as possible, to better serve our clients.
While we are presently located at 400 West High Street in Mount Vernon, we are also busy working on a historic restoration of our future office. The Culbertson’s have a love and appreciation for the preservation of history and older homes. We have purchased 1485 Yauger Road, a magnificent old brick farmhouse that was built in 1829. We are in the process of renovating it and converting it into a state-of-the art real estate office, while maintaining its historic charm. We anticipate it to be ready for our agents and clients sometime in the first half of 2007…watch us grow!
